Doody’s Editorial Review
“This is the first truly pocket-sized book I’ve seen that covers such a wide array of clinical pharmacy topics. This is the best portable reference I have come across with the topics that nearly all pharmacists will find useful in their areas of clinical practice.”–Doody’s
- I bought this book to accompany me on my clinical rotations in my last year of pharmacy school. While it fits nicely into a lab coat pocket and it has some handy charts, it was missing a lot of information and certain disease states. Almost every time I needed to look something up, this handbook didn’t have any helpful information or it was too broad or vague to answer my questions. I quickly stopped bothering to carry it with me. It might be useful on a medical rotation for a broad overview of certain medications, but not detailed enough for pharmacy rotations.
- A very good book for pharmacy
