I’ve heard of the book Atomic Habits and was intrigued but never read it. It felt intimidating. This book made getting the knowledge possible by summarizing and simplifying it – which is actually a basic point to the book Atomic Habits.
When I had heard of the book Atomic Habits I thought of “atomic” as big and explosive. However, it’s talking about atoms, the basic building blocks of everything. Atoms are small. To change our habits we need to implement a 1% change with consistency.

The psychology and science in this book is simple to understand and enticing to act upon. I’m so glad I read this book. I took lots of notes. “Identity,” “Habit stacking” and “pointing and calling” are brilliant. My favorite quote is: “Creating a habit requires repetition, not perfection.””
