If your tube guy begins to get stuck in a downward position, it is time to replace the battery or recharge if using a rechargeable battery.

A friend for life.

I opened the package and screamed for joy! As I placed the 9 volt battery my hands were trembling with what was going to happen next! As I turned on the wacky waving inflatable tube man I knew I have a friend for life. Someone you can really count on cheering you up when you are feeling down. He brought me such Joy I started to cry with laughter and happiness.

I got notice 5pm that Tubey had been delivered but worked till 1am. I rushed home ripped open the package and there he was my very own wacky waving inflatable tub man. I frantically searched the house for a 9 volt battery and found one but it was low on power… not even enough to twerk a little bit. So I hop in the car and drive around for an hour looking for someplace that was open and had 9volt batteries. Finally I found a store with a $6.00 9 volt, purchased it and giddily drove home as fast as I was lawfully able to do. I excitedly inserted the battery and switched it on. Tubey quickly became erect and started flailing about like his ancestors that came before him. My dreams had finally came true I have my very own wacky waving inflatable tub man. Thank you for creating the tiny desktop version.

It’s literally exactly as they show. Its a desk toy, its not meant for continuous running, just for fun. 9 volt battery or a 9v dc adapter (not included) it’s $12 and works great. If it doesn’t flap around there isnt enough air escaping through the top and arms, uae your fingers and make sure the holes are open, then it should work great.

The people leaving low reviews are rediculous. Its a toy, not a professional advertising. Also not meant to be run continuously, although could be with a power supply.

Yes it makes a noise when its turned on…its a fan…moving a fair ammount of air. Do you complain about your hair dryer being loud?

Works perfectly with correct adapter or battery

My son is in love with the “balloon guy” we pass several times a week on our way to my daughters school. When I saw this I knew he had to have it so I preordered and waited.

Firstly, I believe many of the problems people are having with power is due to the fact that they are probably not using the correct adaptor. Not all adaptors have the same output/voltage and when I tried one that was lower than what is recommended I experienced what others have said here. Basically little to no movement, flopped over, etc. Once I put a brand new 9v battery in the guy came to life just like the real deal. So please check the paperwork included and compare it to the label on your adaptor before using it; just because it fits doesn’t mean it’s correct.

The booklet was also a fun read – I enjoyed learning about where this guy came from and how he gained in popularity. Needless to say my son is ecstatic…currently he’s sleeping with his “balloon guy” right next him.
