I bought this for my 23yr old grandson that is a certified STAR WARS geek and he LOVES it! It should have been the last gift he unwrapped since he couldn’t/wouldn’t put it down, LOL. The book is so well done. I love SW too and I wanted to keep it for myself. Maybe he’ll lend it to me.

Non-Star Wars related political propaganda

My teenaged son, a huge Star Wars fan, got this book as a Christmas gift. What we thought was a fun fan book turns out to be laced with a bunch of non-Star Wars political snippets. I might be able to understand giving context through the years with facts about current events, but political opinions and one-sided commentary about people and events need not be included in a book about Star Wars. We will be returning it. Stay on topic DK.

I found going through this to be a walk down memory isle! They include not only SW cool details but highlights of world events/movies/notable events. Being 52, this takes me from childhood all the way to the present… super-cool!

I bought this for my Star Wars fan hubby as it was the most up to date book I could find (2021).
Amazed by the detail in the book, facts about the films, TV shows, books and anything star wars really, even cameos and mentions in popular TV shows.
Very heavy! This will keep him quiet for many hours (our not as he keeps telling me interesting facts 😉)

I have the first version of this that was released so knew what to expect, but having skipped a couple of updates finally decided to pick up this new edition. An interesting tome for Star Wars fans.

The content of the book is as good as always. If you haven’t read it – it’s typical of DK. Magazine style material that is easy to dip in and out of, with plenty of visuals. Unfortunately, the quality of production has declined. The whole thing feels flimsy and cheap – less a hard back than a firm paperback.
