Beckett Pearce….. #BoyfriendGoals and 🔥🔥🔥. I adored Beckett and Jenna’s story. What a ride they had to their HEA. Beckett was best friends with Jenna’s boyfriend Declan, and she hated him from the get go. Declan cheated on Jenna and then stole $15 million from Beckett.. oh, Declan also slept with Beckett’s now exwife during their whole marriage. They’re both still a bit damaged from the fall out, when they are thrust together. Beckett winds up not being the guy Jenna pigeonholed him to be. Beckett sees what he wants, and does whatever he has to do to get it. And so their relationship starts with a $1 million auction date.
So many twists and turns in this book, so so much steamy hotness. I adored Beckett. Who knew he could be such a romantic? Definitely not Jenna. I love that he was not the typical alpha jerk playboy. He was alpha, he could argue with Jenna and she could throw it right back. But he has a heart of gold and so much swoon. They were great together and the epilogues were great.
These bossy alphas of the author’s are divine!

Beckett Pearce is hot, Jenna will give him that much. But as far as she’s concerned, he’s a jerk. His money, his looks, they don’t make up for his bossy, obnoxious personality. They’ve been barely cordial to each other as long as they’ve known each other, which is years considering he’s her ex’s former best friend. So why did he just bid on, and win, a date with her at an auction?! And why is she letting her traitorous body cloud her mind when she’s around him lately?
Jenna may be barely able to stand him, but Beckett has always been intrigued by his former best friend’s ex. Now that she’s single, he’s about to claim her. He will have to check himself, though, if he wants to make a relationship work with his spitfire, because when she gets mad at him and they have words, well, those words are true. He’ll need to be present, not just work all day, keep secrets from her, and make decisions for her. She’s her own woman and does not need him controlling what information she gets to know. He’ll need to treat her like the equal partner she deserves to be, if he wants to keep this
beautiful woman as his.

Beckett Pearce kept me on cloud nine from beginning to end. This story has moved in to the top spot as my favorite Nina Levine book to date and Beckett has tattooed himself on my heart. I loved everything about this story from the bossiness to the fire along with the compassion, devotion and desire! This is couple goals right here because Jenna and Beckett have this spectacular chemistry and consume each other in such a swoon worthy way. I think this couple just gets each other down to their very souls and it’s breathtaking to witness. The give and take as they maneuver figuring each other out is amazing. Beckett is so attentive and really listens even if Jenna is long winded. Jenna may have misjudged him, but she lives for finding out all the complexities and sweetness that make Beckett the spectacular man that he is. I smiled all the time at the “noted” and I couldn’t wait for tea or the desserts. I laughed out loud about George dreams vs Chris. By the way, I’m Chris all day but now Beckett has taken over. All I know is I wish I could read this book for the first time again because I want all the dances in the kitchen, the suits, the firsts, the sunrises and the all-consuming love. Beckett Pearce, I would be your sweetheart and wife forever!
