Good guide for aspiring leaders

I found the book to be exactly what is required for somebody taking first steps in the art of leadership. It touches upon all the important things every leader needs to focus on, if s(he) wants to succeed. I found incorporating the real well established leaders stories in each chapter helped me relate better to the intended message authors were trying to convey.

Seems that the “ether” is the explanation for everything. Then, what is the “ether”?

I have reach 30% of the book and seems more like a misticall explanation of the function of the brain. Seems like the “ether” is responsible of everything. I have not read any fact yet, only opinions of the author and when he reach a point of an explanation of how the master mind works he just insert the word “ether” in the middle of the paragraph to explain the function. Nothing in this book compare to others books from Hill (at least from what I have read).
I will update the review as I continue reading. I write this review, even if I only have read 30%, just because it bores me so much I stop reading and start searching for similar books. Think and Grow Rich and Outwitting the Devil were so great that I kept me reading even if I was late to do other things. I just feel “forced” to keep reading this book trying to find the same “sensation and knowleged” from Hill books that I read before.A Practical Guide to Leadership PDF

It’s based on a very large guide, “The Law of Success,” which expands (it’s lengthy) on these suggestions. No area of life is exempt from Hill’s words, and for his time (back in the days of the Great Depression), Hill possessed great insight that applies as much today as it did back then. I was surprised to not have known of “The Magic Ladder to Success Before Now.” It adds even greater understanding to “Think and Grow Rich” as well as Hill’s other publications. – K Harwell
