So, I have been smoking pot since 1969. I live in California, where it is legal. I have seen so many varieties of weed, cannabis, pot, whatever, and the main thing for me is…..what’s the buzz? So overall, I could never call myself a “connoisseur” of pot, but I am quite the informed user, can grow it, know all about what’s good, THC and CBD and blah blah blah. But that’s not the point of this book. The point of this to me is to get a nice buzz and peruse the superb stories about growing, strains, look at the absolutely gorgeous photos of weed and edibles, and drool and feast my eyes while I am usually having the munchies. It is large, a coffee….weed table…book. Smart and lovely cover of a simple leaf. Honestly, anyone you know who is a stoner, and for sure anyone you know who lights a bud and then “tastes” the smoke, they will love this book. You can almost taste and smell the buds in the photos. Everything you always wanted to know about weed….Life cycle, growing, but really…..that edibles section. I have to try something. Never really liked savory edibles much. But I will try something from this book. And get more munchies. Do you know how hard it is to get rid of this belly?? This book does not help. It’s wonderful. If you read this far, you are interested. Buy this book. Superb gift.

My mom is 58 and smoked her fair share when she was younger. She has a lot of health issues and has been thinking pretty heavily about getting the medical card in our state to avoid paying the ridiculous taxes. I thought this book would be perfect to try and get her up to speed with the “new” cannabis industry that has so vastly changed since her pot smoking days.
This book has beautiful photos and I even took a photo of one of the pages close up and some of my friends thought it was real buds sitting on my table. The photos are extremely detailed and amazing quality.
The book itself is organized in an easy to follow way that talks about everything from history, terpenes, cannibinoids, culture, edibles, harvesting, growing indoor and outdoor, and a lot more. It has a lot of information that’s easy to read without getting lost in the text
