This is a business book for people who think “business” is being on Shark Tank.
The writing is puffy nonsense filling pages because the actual ideas presented would only fill a pamphlet, where the main objective is to present the author as “just another busy person barely holding it together” who is also a marketing genius.

This is a book that every person in business—whether in sales, marketing, accounting, you name it—should have in their toolbox. (And if you’re employed, you are in business).
Of course I was hooked in almost immediately with the opening story in the introduction, and my never-ending fandom of Kindra had nothing to do with it. She uses story to sell the concept of using story to sell, thus proving every point she makes in the whole book.
Her ability to weave story in among the facts and figures is reminiscent of Malcolm Gladwell’s “The Tipping Point”, where she captivated you so much with all of the stories behind brands we know and love.
But of course, she tells all of these stories in a way that only Kindra “with an I” Hall can.

This book was a perfect supplement to the just completed instruction. Her book logically explained the basis of the power of storytelling in business and gave us specific steps to be successful. She shares tips on how to craft stories to be effective in your business…but even in your personal writing projects…and so much more.
This book was one of the most instructive I have read in some time…one I will be able to apply right away. I have been following Kindra for a few years and am thankful that she put her storytelling “secrets” in print for all to apply.
