I have been in full time online learning for four years. I have used electronic books and paperback/hardback. This is by FAR the absolute worse e-book I have ever had. It is impossible to navigate, it doesn’t use page numbers that correlate with the text, the search feature is practically worthless. When a search correlates, it is impossible to know if a result is in an area of interest without selecting it. I honestly could not dislike this ebook any more than I do. Hated I wasted my money and didn’t stick with the hardback.

Edited to add: I forgot to mention it is impossible to see any of the tables or graphs without having to manually increase the zoom of the brows

Many typographical errors

The information in this book is great (I got the paperback version). This is however the WORST edited textbook I’ve ever read. Errors range from random bold letters to misspellings to errors of ideas that require page turning and internet searching to clarify. I literally (and I’m not exaggerating) find an error every time I read. With a new, more detailed editor this book would be nearly perfect.

My school assigns page numbers for you to read but this ebook does not have page numbers. It has locations! This does not help when you have to site things and actually find anything based on the page number. This is fine for leisurely reading but is absolutely not ok for a textbook. This was very frustrating. If I could give it zero stars I would. At least the refund process was easy.

DO NOT purchase the E-book. This option does not have page numbers. It is very frustrating when you only need to read certain pages and this option only offers location, it is not user friendly and don’t waste your effort and time

I have 3 or 4 books on acupressure. What I like about this one is that, unlike my other books, it has an index where all conditions are listed. The author doesn’t waste her and our time talking about TCM theory. She touches the subject briefly and then goes straight to each condition, how each condition is treated in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She shows the acupressure points that are recommended in each case and uses large diagrams so the reader will know exactly how to locate the point.
The main difference between this book and others I have is that, in my other books, the authors seem more interested in the points and then list ALL the many conditions the points treat. Here the author goes directly to each specific condition and then provides the best points to treat said condition, which is so much easier for us, readers. We, readers, don’t need to know how many conditions are treated by each point. We need to know which points treat a specific condition.
I am sure the author, who is an accupuncturist herself, has the knowledge to write a lengthy book on TCM theory, meridians and so on. But she wasn’t interested in lecturing us. She obviously wrote this book
