but pretty decent. Hard to find what you’re looking for

Not very specific, needs more nursing interventions and explanations of what certain things mean (especially fetal strips), but pretty decent. Hard to find what you’re looking for, but it’s organized pretty well. I wish it was just OB and not OB/Peds. Better for a nursing student than a practicing nurse. I do really like that it’s small enough to stuff in your scrub pocket. and waterproof 😉

I didn’t pay $40 for puns.

I bought this to supplement my maternal-newborn nursing textbook, thinking it would have extra info that would flesh out the material, or tips for clinicals. Nope on both accounts. Instead it’s overly cutesy, with subheaders such as “Mellow yellow,” “Leading to bleeding,” and “When the bun’s not done.” I do think this would be useful to students who struggle with the dry tone of their textbooks, but that’s not me. Unfortunately I missed the return window so I’m stuck with it.
Good book, Shipping Not Great

The book is well written and I will be able to refresh my knowledge quite a bit. However, almost $40 I spent on this book and the back cover and several pages came bent. Not happy about that.
Book useful, packaging was not appropriate

this book has all the information I need to study for my OB class. The content is perfect, handling was not. Book came with a damaged back cover.
So much information!

This book has SO much more information in it than I anticipated. I wish I would have come across this sooner in my NP program. I actually wish that my university would have made this book a requirement as I definitely feel it has improved my clinical documentation in my practicum and my SOAP note assignments.

It covers very basic stuff. Only 2 chapters might be considered useful I regret buying this overrated book. Be advised return isn’t possible

I bought this for school as an assignment that needed to be completed. SOAP notes are certainly subjective so be careful following these outlines. also listen to what your provider/professor wants and expects from the a SOAP.
You only get half of the diagnosis’ in the table of contents
November 16, 2021
Felt shafted, half of the table of contents show you need to go online and pay an additional $100/ year. I could’ve got an online subscription. The book is supposed to help save some time, but I’ve had to look up a few things online to find I need to go online. The information is very good though and we’ll written. I’m not a doctor, so the information is written for those educated but not too complicated if you know what I mean.
