Not recommended and biased dangerous ideologies
May 19, 2021
It is very biased toward liberal ideology and political party. It heralds Margaret Sanger (eugenist and founder of Planned Parenthood) as a nurse advocate (of all the nurse advocate to chose from, this is an insult and brainwashing information but so false). It is full of critical theories permeating the health system and the academia.

hate this book.
eBook on Kindle app.

Excellent source of information for graduate nurses. Chapters are precise, concise, and educative. The only issue is that this eBook format does not download correctly. That is, there is some kind of a glitch because in all of my electronic devices (i.e., iPad, iPhone, and HP laptop) there is missing Table of Contents, some pages have only few sentences (the rest of page is blank) and the rest of material continues next page. Also, the continuous scrolling feature is not available, which I prefer when reading eBooks. (FYI: I would give 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the glitch.)

This book is nothing more than an attempt to brainwash college students into adopting a liberal ideology. Margaret Sanger practiced eugenics; she was not a role model for nursing. This book is a required textbook for my college class. Otherwise, I would not have wasted my money. The text lacks objectivity and only focuses on a liberal viewpoint.
Index is useless

This book is confusing to read and the index is terrible. Missing key terms in the index, making it impossible to find certain topics without searching through the whole book.

Arrived in mint condition. The book itself is actually one of the best textbook reads I’ve experienced. Much less painful than most textbooks I’ve read with a lot of good information on currently healthcare policy issues.

Bought this book new, since the new price was not much different from the used price. The book that came was not new, it was bent, and some pages are look as if they were wet and dried.
