- I would read this before class to help understand the concepts and flow of the immune system. This book covers all the main topics of Immunology: Innate and Adaptive, transplantation, autoimmunity and hypersensitivity. It also has a clinical aspects of immunology chapter.
What this book is lacking is a more complete disorders listing. While it does use certain disorders as an example of a process, I found myself having to reference several other books to get a complete list of immunological disorders.
That being said, I love all of the lippincott series, and brag about them to my fellow medical students. They are the reason I am still passing! -
