This things so heavy. I almost broke my back trying to hold up the utter mass of highly condensed stars. I was very much afraid that me dropping it would cause the whole planet and stars to implode and plunge into the depth of this black hole that is created.
Pictures are pretty cool!

Well worth the price and wait. An upgrade from the previous encyclopedias. Very thorough. One thing that seems sadly missing is information on the Halo Wars buildings (the units are present, so those games weren’t missed by any means). It also would have been cool to include the human classifications of the Covenant weapons. My only nitpicks of an otherwise fantastic base of knowledge, and they by no means dimish the entire work

A gigantic book with vibrant imagery that any Halo fan would love

The new Halo Encyclopedia is packed full of interesting lore from the Halo universe. Whether you’ve only played the MCC or you’ve read the entire EU, if you enjoy the franchise then you’ll definitely find something to pique your interest in this book. It’s huge, heavy, almost 500 pages long, and looks very, very nice.
The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is that Bonnie Ross, Kiki Wolfkill, and Frank O’Connor have been thanked in the ‘special thanks’ section. I do not believe it is fair for the triumvirate of suits who’re tearing the franchise apart for their personal gain to be given any credit towards this masterpiece.

A bit on the pricey side, but really is something amazing! The weight reflects how much this book contains! Any fans that have enjoyed the expanded lore of Halo will love this!

Das Buch bietet für einen Halo Fan fast alles was man sich vorstellen kann.
Sowohl alte als auch die neuesten Infos und Charaktere der über die Jahre erschienenen Novels sind bereits im Buch vorhanden. Auch der Aufbau des Buches mit den 5 größten Fraktionen des Halo Universums Humanity, Covenant, Forerunners, Flood und den Banished wurde super und vor allem übersichtlich gelöst.
Einzig und allein die Timeline hätte ausführlicher dargestellt werden können,
Halo: Mythos bietet dort allerdings eine gute Alternative.
Die Deluxe Edition bietet mit dem zeitlosen Design auch eine tolle Cover Variante an die mir persönlich etwas besser gefällt als die der normalen Edition, wer sich für die normale Edition entscheidet verpasst allerdings nicht wirklich etwas.
