Great book…Cases are more difficult than the real test.

Used this book in preparation for oral boards and found it helpful. Overall, i would rate the cases on the moderate to difficult end when compared to actual test cases. The book is similar to Top3 and AuntMinnie atlas, which are also “classic” board review books.

Japanese radiologist
First-class case review book

I am a Japanese radiologist and want to learn the cases except the daily imaging diagnosis.
I bought the first edition as a book, but bought the second edition as Kindle edition.
The reason why I give the best evaluation in this book is that each case and each differential diagnosis and explanation are very excellent.
I want to recommend this book to young doctor to be a Japanese radiology specialist.

EXCELLENT review book… Mainly to be used toward the latter years of residency. The cases are well presented and represented, and the accompanying text is to the point and riddled with high yield facts, appropriately divided into clinical and radiological signs… Further reading suggestions at the end of each case, help complete the task.
All in all one of these must-have books, that actually teaches you a way to think!!!

Excellent book which covers the essentials for the FRCR 2B exam. Structured on a system based approach providing a comprehensive review of the essential and aunt minnie cases. would definitely recommend.

I have only read the thoracic imaging part. It is short, crisp and strikes straight onto your head!

オーソドックスな問題集

胸部、乳腺、gastrointestinal、genitourinary、筋骨格型、neuro、vascular、小児、超音波、核医学、心の11章で各30問程度で構成されています。2Pで1問の構成で左ページが問題提示。右ページが解説です。online store.comにアクセスすればsearch insideのところから本の中身の一部を見ることができるので参考にしてください。
問題解説の部分ではDDxが充実しています。その解説がきちんとしており、どうしてその疾患が考えやすいか、あるいは考えにくいかが解説されています。
続いてkey facts、radiologicとしてその疾患の基本的な概念、画像所見の解説がなされます。これらはいずれも箇条書きの形式ですが、しっかりと書いてくれているので他の本にあたって調べなおさなくてよいのがこの本の魅力の1つと思います。
最後にsuggested readingとして論文が3-5紹介されています。最近の論文が多いことに感心しました。
症例は基本的な問題が多いので、難しい症例や稀な疾患の問題集を探している方にはこの症例集は不適当と思います。腹部や骨盤については’CT and MRI of the abdomen and pelvis’というすばらしい症例集があるので、こちらもおすすめします。
