Jessica N. Watkins was born on April 1st in Chicago, Illinois. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Focus in Psychology from DePaul University and a Masters of Applied Professional Studies with a focus in Business Administration from the like institution. Working in Hospital Administration for the majority of her career, Watkins has also been an author of fiction literature since the young age of nine. Eventually, she used writing as an outlet during her freshmen year of high school as a single parent: “In the third grade, I entered a short story contest with a fiction tale of an apple tree that refused to grow despite the efforts of the darling main character. My writing evolved from apple trees to my seventh and eighth-grade classmates paying me to read novels I wrote about kids our age living the lives our parents wouldn’t dare let us”. At the age of twenty-eight, Watkins’ chronicles have matured into steamy, humorous, and realistic tales of African American Romance and Urban Fiction.

So when we left off on book one Law was waiting to her about his sentence and Zuri had been thrown a hell of a wrench with finding out her beloved daughter slept with her husband.
This sequel pick up right where it finished and boy was it the juicy ride. I was glad that those who had wrong both Law and Zuri got what was coming to them in spades. It saddened me that Zuri wasn’t able to repair her relationship her daughter but on the flip sided Zoey wasn’t trying to humble herself and women up. So sis got what was coming to her. Glad Zuri was able to heal and find new form family through her friends and even laws children. Sad to see this end but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I loved this finale ! I only gave it 4 stars because” I ” didn’t like how long it took for them to run back into each other… That Zoey….. she deserved everything she got. I wouldn’t have sent her $1 while she was in there! If Spoiled and entitled was a person 🙄 Bianca was a Friend anybody would have!
Rashad got exactly what he deserved as well ! Law is life!! I commend how Law loved Zuri 😍 I highly recommend 👌

This was soooo goood! The Cliff hanger in the first book made you question if she was going to be able to pull it off in book 2. She did! Some I’m sure will question the ending because they didn’t want it to end. But, a good book always leaves you wanting more. A very good book will leave you with no unanswered questions. I feel the there were no loose ends here. I really enjoyed it. Thank you JW❣️

Whewww… well done Jessica! My girl Zuri was dealt a bad hand! The betrayal was outta dis world. Then slowly but surely, Sis put those pieces back together. Law never had it good, but he always seems to make lemonade with them lemons. Outstanding read!

I’ve been waiting for the ending since I read the first installment. I read this book in one day. Love the happy ending. I was hoping nothing would happen to Law. Hopefully there will be a part 3.
