Great Resource

The only fault I have with this book is that I am not able to access the Instructor’s resources. I have one student who is woefully lacking in understanding the why and how of the human body. This book has been a God send for her when I work with her one on one. She has improved both in classroom and in the clinical setting because of the building block this has provided. My other students use this as a resource when they can’t understand certain structures in relation to other organ systems and the interactions. Some may feel that using an advanced resource such as this for a LPN/LVN program is too advanced for this student population. Trust me; the more these student learn the more engaged and the more they want to learn. Book is great however; not being able to access the Instructor’s resources limits my ability to teach my students.

This is a great textbook to purchase if you like to read about the material. I bought this in addition to Netter’s Atlas and this was great to reference when I needed to connect concepts. It’s an easy read and very helpful!
Book was not “new”

I am disappointed to say that when I received my copy of Moore’s Essential Clinical Anatomy, the code on the back of the front cover for online materials was already used and scratched off. This is completely unacceptable as I was expecting to be able to use the online material as supplement to my studying. Please be aware- “new” does not mean “never used” and it’s disappointing that a textbook as good as this could be falsely advertised as that.

I bought this book because it said it was new. It arrived with the corners all bent back and syrup or something sticky spilled all over the edges. The pages stick together making it impossible to flip through.

Great book. Required for medical school. Note that there is NO physiology associated with text. Strictly anatomy. Do not get for supplemental reading unless you lack adequate anatomy materials and do not need explanations of organ/system functions and cascades
Great book, but no digital pdf

I love the book, especially the clinical and imaging boxes, and the diagrams. But I was really disappointed that the online code doesn’t include access to a pdf of the text. I’ve never bought a book with online content that didn’t include he digital copy of the book. If I had the digital copy, I would rate it a 5 out of 5, but without it, I can only give it a 3

My medical school bases much other their anatomy course off this book. It really is a useful text for context and clinical relevance. Pleasantly surprised to find that explanations are not overly bogged down by minutia.

Not worth the images

Over the years, I have used several anatomy books. This book has great, pertinent information, but the images are less than subpar. I would recommend looking at other books with better images if you are a visual learner and have a choice of books.

A must for students!

As a first year Occupational therapy student, this book was perfect for me. I found the layout easy and logical and it makes it easier to learn. I like the examples to clinical practice and all the practical details it gives. I have tried Gray’s anatomy but i didn’t find the layout as user friendly as this book. This book was recommended by our anatomy lecturer and I’m so glad I bought it.
