Good love story

An excellent story that get a bit disjointed at times. Had a good love story with put falls going and then it skipped to a story line of kids almost being hurt. This came out of no where and the it just sort of faded into the back ground. Got a lot of surface being scratched for a lot of people. Was at times hard to keep up with the original story line. Really hope the next book doesn’t jump around as much, now that the family has all been introduced to the readers.

Loved Tex! This is going to be a great new series. I love the rough and tumble way the young brothers are portrayed, maybe because I raised 5 boys and can relate. I like that they grew up a normal working/ranching family. Cant wait for the rest to come out

Great Beginning

The first book in Liz Isaacson’s new Coral Canyon series. This book is a wonderful start. Tex and his son Bryce come to town and see that Tex’s family ranch is going to be auctioned the next day. Tex bids against his old high school girlfriend Abby. Will this lead to a second chance for them? Loved it!!

A few problems with the storyline. The auction was cash only, she way over bid. The joint purchase, no written contract or agreement. Please!!!! Novel or not. Being kicked out of the house she and her brother had gotten from their parents. All of seems wrong – she gets absolutely nothing for all her hard work. It sounds like she has to be the dutiful woman and agree with everything the man says and wants.

This is a wonderful beginning of a new series by a talented author. Tex is a country music star that is ready to settle down. He has taken custody of his teenage son so he cannot be on the road traveling any longer. Abby is the girl he left behind. They lived next door to each other growing up and were childhood sweethearts before he left her behind. When he moves back to Coral Canyon they end up owning his old homestead together and living next door to each other once again. Will they be given a second chance to fall in love all over again?

When the boy next door steals your heart, leaves and returns, it certainly can play with a girl’s heart. Abbie certainly does not know what to do when Ted returns and with his teenage son in tow.

Tex has returned to his hometown of Coral Canyon and is floored with the dilapidated appearance of his childhood home. When he sees the girl next door he is struck with how beautiful she still is. He may very well lose his heart for good this time ~
