Wonderful story

I would give this book five stars just for the one scene where Dom comes to the house to look at the pool pump (I haven’t laughed so hard in a while, and it just went on and on), but this is a wonderful book deserving of an excellent rating as a whole.
Kitty is the POV character. She’s in her early sixties, and she and her estranged sister Jenny inherit a house in Brittany. It needs some TLC, and Kitty hopes working together will be a chance to mend things with Jenny. The two sisters have trod different paths in life but were very close in their younger years.
This is a lovely book with great descriptions of French villages and countryside as well as a wonderful cast of characters and animals. I heartily recommend it for nostalgia and laughter.Sisters Behaving Badly By Maddie Please PDF

Great Sister Healing

This book is fantastic. Two sisters and the times being separated were brought together after the loss of their aunt. It was amazing to read and feel and even know all the things each sister was feeling during their reunion. I enjoyed this book so much that now I’m going to get all of the books written by Maddie Please. The best message that I got was its never too late to change your life no matter what age you are. Find peace and joy and if you open your heart, love has a chance to come to you

As a mid 60ish woman with a three years older sister, I could relate to Kitty and Jenny. (Ironically, my name begins with a K, my sister’s, a J). These two sister grew up close, then had a horrible falling out that kept them apart for years. The death of a beloved aunt has led to the two sisters inheriting her house, along with the funds to fix it and contractors already hired. At times this is a sad tale, but more so a story of love, commitment and some hilarious events.

Thus was such a good, sweet story. You will love the characters and you will yearn for their happiness. It’s a happy ending, realistic story of women over 60 getting a new life and shedding their old and rather limiting views. It’s a coming of age tale of two sisters coming together after disagreements had separated them. It has friendship, wisdom, romance and humor. It’s a great book. One I could enjoy reading again.! I highly recommend it.
