Some pages are difficult to read due to printing issues. I had the sixth edition and it was great. I am returning this and ordered a replacement . Other than that, stahl’s prescriber guide is a must for psychiatrist or anyone prescribing psych meds

The content is not much different from the 6th edition; it’s an easy-to-read book with the most important information you need to prescribe. It would have been nice to have a list of the newly added meds. The book I received was printed on glossy paper so there’s always a glare and it’s impossible to highlight; you have to wait 5 minutes for the highlighter to dry. I did find a sharpie works well and does not bleed through. When I flipped a page, the page actually came out! I’m disappointed, for $80 I expected better quality.

Latest revision 7th adds a few more psychotropics in a market of “me too” agents. Not much new here and repetitive watchwords for similar agents from Big Pharma. When will cutting entheogens (psilocybin) appear ? Still he remains the best practitioners educator!

Just purchased expecting issues, but none of the links work in the table of contents. Thus, you cannot navigate to the drug of interest. As others have stated, there are symbols everywhere that don’t make sense. And you can’t change the font size/font. Pretty useless. Hopefully they at least update with the ability to jump to the drugs from the table of contents so it’s at least somewhat useful

Internal links don’t work, random symbols in the text, no proper index for easily finding the medications… it’s hard to understand how such a good book had such a poor Kindle edition

I bought this book not as a prescriber but as a nurse to better understand my patients medications. I found it to be very useful. Look at the preview for the layout. Book came in perfect condition

This does not work on Kindle for iPhone. I’m not sure why.

Colorful with great pearls of wisdom on each medication. Extremely though – and my first reference always.
