Editorial Reviews

…a concise book which is targeted directly to our profession…this one book is directly focused on the workings of the medic outside of a hospital environment. Just what you need out on the road, when you never know what the next emergency will be. (Jeff Pittman, Paramedic.)

This handy and superbly presented pocket sized book is ideal for quick reference providing essential information on the immediate care setting. The authors are of unquestionable experience in the field of emergency medicine and…the book is both comprehensive and concise…[it] must surely become an essential piece of kit for all pre-hospital care practitioners, replacing the bulky American books which have dominated the market. (Accident and Emergency Nursing)

A useful reference for those involved in prehospital care of patients…this book addresses many areas of prehospital care and is thorough in what it covers. (Krista G. Handyside, MD, University of Texas Medical School at Houston)

User Reviews

  1. Pretty basic and lacking in detail, I bought this book to support my work as a pre-hospital doctor, ABC of pre-hospital medicine was a better text and practical experience was better gained by attended courses and lectures
  2. handy book to touch up on knowledge for emergency service
  3. Love the book.
    All as in the offer.
    Good condition.
