I was disappointed to find that not only are there no hyperlinks through the text, even the table of contents does not click through to the relevant chapter, and nor does the index. The most basic kindle books from the very first kindle, for free, usually have this ability.
Of course the content is there (doesn’t work in android galaxy s4 by the way, even though the screen should have an adequate resolution for it), but don’t expect to do some quick fact checking using this e-paperweight. Very comprehensive and up to date on all the topics (for internal medicine, that is).
The only problem is because there is just too much new knowledge over time, so some important topics are “off-loaded” onto the accompanying CD. And I have misplaced that. So until I can locate that CD, I am ignorant of such things as poisoning and environmental toxins, among other things. Oh well, I hope they can expand the next edition to three or more volumes instead so I won’t misplace my CD.
