I’ve always wanted to draw people but I didn’t know where to start. This book helps me a lot because the instructions overall are easy to follow, and the pictures next to them are very helpful too because they help me better visualize then create steps on my paper. The author also shows how to draw different aspects of a human body like torso, arms and even how those parts affect clothing, which give me lots of chances to hone my drawing skill. I’m making progress every day! Highly recommended for beginners!

I’m a big fan of Erik Barrett’s books, especially this one. This book is helpful for all people who want to learn how to draw people like me. Anyway, I suggest big size letters in your next book, cuz I got some eye problems.
I’ve got some books by Erik before, like “How To Draw Dragons”, and “How To Draw Animal”, and I recommend you should buy them!

I thought highly of the instructions. Not terribly pleased with the practice pages since I use mixed media and bristol sketchbooks of my own.
