Andrew Kermode “I’ve tried a few of Joseph’s drawing books and they are extremely well laid out. This drawing book leads you step by step through the process and helps boost your confidence in drawing. i like that we start drawing out each figure simply by using lines and circles. This makes it very attainable for anyone to do even if you are not an artist like myself. So far I have drawn the kneeling girl and girl sitting sideways. I would like to try these again a few more times because like with anything, practice will help improve skills!”

The fact that I was able to get this far IS a testament to this book. However, there are extra lines that are not mentioned in the directions, and I would have greatly preferred to understand why the were included since my goal is to sketch original works.

Also, the book doesn’t finish the job! It stops at step 6 when I wanted to know how to get to step 10!”

It does give very basic practice, step by step as to where to place a mark or line to do the basic & super simple exercise and it gives a few exercises doing the same thing. That’s it. That’s the whole book/pamphlet.”
