Fun fun read

This was a really fun read and I loved the characters and the story line, just seen this book on my goodreads page and seen it got good ratings and bought it and read it and loved it.
What’s sucked is this is a new series and it looks like I have to wait for the next book to come out as I wanted to start reading another great series with books already having been written 😁

Too much like the Paradise Series

Very disappointed and most likely won’t purchase the next book in line.

This new series does not deviate in any way from the Paradise Series. The main male character is Creole and the female character jumps back and forth with Madison and Fab.

I’m very disappointed with Ms. Brown’s REPEATED, immature gestures throughout the novel and hope she stops using them… snorting, eyeball rolling, growling, smirks, pinkie swears, and finger scissoring to indicate sexual INTERCOURSE. I felt that she’s writing to a teen or Tik Toc social media audience.

If this was her intended goals, then I won’t continue purchasing any further books.

Never disappoints!

I’m always excited when Deborah releases a new book but this new series really pulled me in. She creates the best characters, male and female, they are smart, sassy, witty, sexy and despite that, relatable lol. I thought I had it all figured out… almost I didn’t see the twist and turns coming. I can’t wait for the next two in this series.

must read a 25 book series first

One of my pet peeves is starting a book series with an engaging premise only to realize it’s a spin off. Spin offs are rarely done well. A new-to-author reader gets completely turned off because they usually feel like there is missing information. This is one of the worst non-transitional spins offs I’ve ever read. It feels like we’re in the middle of a story from the very first chapter.
It bummed me out because I liked the characters and the premise. I even liked most of the banter, but just couldn’t get over the feeling that I didn’t have the whole picture.
I read other reviews after I became disgruntled and I am far from the only reviewer with this observation, so I almost didn’t bother with a review. Especially since I stopped reading at chapter 9. However, this is an issue that really annoys me, so I decided to add my opinion. The writing otherwise wasn’t bad, and I could have been engaged. I really wanted to get to book 3 “Jilted”, which piqued my interest, but now I’m just giving up.
