Do not buy

This book feels like it was written by a 15 year old back in the 1950 or 60. The dialogue between Luna and her brother and her love interest is asinine. Luna is supposed to be 30 something, she giggles and feels her legs wobble when Marshal talks to her.
To bring this book into the 21 century a cellphone, Venmo and PayPal was added at the near end of the book.
This book also needs an editor.

Who wrote thus book???

I have read many, many books by Fern Michaels and enjoyed them all — except this one. I could have told you the ending by the time I read the first few pages. Slow moving and not exciting at all. Felt like it had been written for young readers. Do not recommend.

An okay book

This book was okay. It was so hard to get into for me – I just couldn’t find myself wanting to read it. There was one chapter that really got my interest and hoped the book was picking up, but it didn’t. The last 50-80 pages (out of 309 pages) were the best, most attention keeping part of the book. I figured from the beginning what was going to happen, and kept reading to see how it would get to that point. There was, in my opinion, so much unneeded information in the book that just took away from it and made it really hard to get my interest. It was a mostly clean book to read, with the exception of 2 curse words (I believe that was all). I have never read anything by this author before, but am hesitant to if her other books are like this one.

Overdone as usual

I do like most of her books except they are SO overdone. All of her characters are ‘gushing’, or ‘laughing uproariously’, or ‘giggling like two schoolgirls’. I think you get my drift. Everything is just a bit too much and it takes away from the storyline. This could have been a really good story but it got lost in a sea of ‘too many overblown words’.
