what a disappointment

They have shortened Goodman and Gilman, removing much of the helpful physiology in the process. Of course this brand new version includes newer drugs. But this version doesn’t come close to superseding the old, and superior, editions. It is about 400 pages shorter, about 20%, effectively more than that because of some new chapters that are timely but not really to the point, at least according to my thoughts.

Hard to read text due to size of print.

This book was shipped in perfect condition and is bound very well. I was very disappointed that they decided to go with the smaller font throughout. Previous editions had larger text with some smaller text inserted. The first thing I had to do was to go out and buy a nice magnifying glass. I know that they want to cram as munch info into the book as possible but It shouldn’t be a strain on the eyes. Just wanted to let you know if you are considering buying this edition in print.
I had been waiting for this latest edition for 3 years and decided I wanted to keep it.
