 Great review for surgery shelf

Worth the read. It covers the key topics very well and the question and answer format is excellent for active learning. I would also use pestanas surgery notes to complement it. Together they work very well and got me a 90 on my surgery shelf without even doing Uworld

I made the mistake of buying this book when there weren’t any reviews out there.

March 18, 2014

I scored in the 260s on Step1 and wanted something to help me cut to the chase for 2CK studying, especially since I have practically no free time to study/read. There weren’t any reviews for this book, but I decided to “pioneer it” and buy it anyway.

LITERALLY, as soon as I opened the book, it was immediately apparent that I wasted my money.

The vast majority of the Q&As are Step1 info, and not to mention, over-simplified/too general to have any value.

There are a few anatomy points that I can review from it, but I didn’t need to purchase this money-waster for those.

Bottom line: DON’T BUY.
