The third edition has turned out be a very informative book just like the 2nd edition but also with extra information including a complete chapter on COVID19 ( includes pathogenesis,diagnosis and treatment). This time they have also included the parasitology in the same book which is a boon to the students of the new curriculum.

2nd edition is better than this .

The 2nd edition is far better than this , many of the necesaary informations even simple informations like on culture media and sterilization is missing from this book . And information on a single virus or bacteria would be spread throughout the whole book and not on a single topic . Makes it quite inefficient .

Was expecting it to be better than it is, lots of concepts deleted from second edition which were important. Previously it was a go to book , now I have refer both books , so that I dont miss points , especially Bacteriology.Disheartened..
