Must have for emergency & critical care

Great textbook, but I knew that going in. Haha. I love the multi device e-book feature. If you want to actually read this book, definitely use the e-books because the text is pretty small in the print version. One of the beat things about this book is that the authors provide their supporting references at the end of each chapter, which I love to read since I’m a research nerd.

The book was well written in a systematic fashion. If you take the time to read each chapter thoroughly you’ll level up your airway management skills in no time.

I think that this is the best book for teaching airway management to medical students, intern and resident.
One unfortunate point is that some image resolution is so low that it cannot withstand enlargement with tablet.

I bought this book after attending the Difficult Airway Course: EMS last summer and it is an excellent resource for any airway operator, irrespective of clinical grade, specialty or experience. This book has an approachable written style with plenty of photographs, diagrams and flowcharts to aid understanding. Full of hints and tips, this book continues to support my clinical practice.

My friend is an ACP and, as a paramedic myself, I wanted to push my knowledge to another level. This book is part of my friend’s recommandations and I quickly understood why. Obviously, this book fits well in the library of any medical professional. Certainly, one of the best reference in my collection.
