Great bridging the gap between western medicine and Chinese medicine

As a qigong teacher this is a wonderful book as a reference for whenever I am confronted with a student who has a particular health condition. In one book I can get a good grasp on an illness and see how it relates to an understanding according to Chinese medicine principles. Currently this book is required for my advanced level qigong certification students. I also use it for any of my personal health issues. I wish it was available years ago so my past students could have benefited from it.

Not what I hoped for.

I like the reference to the TCM diagnosis blurbs in this text, however I find that there is a lack of diagrams and detail with relation to the written text compared to some other books that I have used in the past. I find myself needing reference back to other texts for more detail.
