Ada Sue Hinshaw, PhD, RN, FAAN, is dean emeritus and professor emeritus, Graduate School of Nursing, Uniformed Services, University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, Maryland, and dean emeritus and professor, University of Michigan School of Nursing, where she served as dean from 1994 to 2006.
