She lives in New York with her husband, three children, and her daughter’s collection of rainbow wigs.I heard about this new book through a friend, and read it cover to cover within two days. The author captures so much of the human experience so beautifully. The way that she writes about love in all its forms, grief in all its forms, and everything in between- the big moments in life and the mundane trips to the grocery store- are so honest and raw. She is incredibly relatable in so many ways, and by the end of the book you feel personally invested in the author and her beautiful family. There are times I found myself sobbing, both for the experiences she had and how they reminded me of my own, and many other times where I was actually laughing out loud. While Moore writes about her experience as a mother to a child with profound special needs, this is a memoir that all parents can relate to on many levels. This book is so beautifully written, and I hope that she writes another, as I cannot wait to see what she and her family are up to next. I loved this book. Pick this book up, read it, and you will find that you, too, are loving it big!
