I purchased two sets of these I will lay down a word from my stack and ask her to find the matching word in her stack. She is engaged and all smiles as she gets the matches right. The second thing I do with her is like down four or five words on the table and ask her to construct a simple sentence. I watch as she thinks about it then puts the words in order to make a sentence. Our visits are more productive and she gets to exercise her brain. I wish maufacturers would actually develop more tools that I could use with her as she battled this insidious illness that is touching so many of the elderly.”

E. L “Not happy with this set of cards. There are different words on each side of the cards. A few cards have a word we needed on each side of the cards so it’s impossible to stick them in the wall for practice as the other side of the card has a word we need too. Also, only one side of the card has a shiny laminated finish. Very unhappy and we will be purchasing a better set of cards. Disappointed in this well known brand.”

I’m using them with my 5 year old kindergartener and they’re working well, however, there’s some words they didn’t have that I thought should be in there, like the words: yes, me, play, help, good, want & too. But overall for the price, they work. It’s a little annoying there’s a different set of words on the opposite side of the cards, but I understand the practicality of condensing the pack and not having hundreds of cards too so . that’s not that big of deal to me. Main complaint would be lack of words. Quality is decent, it’s less than 3 bucks or whatever, so the quality is as expected.”

A.B. “We boght these flash cards and are very happy with the thickness of the paper, readability, etc. Half of the words are on the back of the cards which is not shiny and not coloured. There is no explanation for this.
However, nowhere in the description does it say that these cards are based on the FRY list of words, not the Dolch list. Since our son’s school is working based on the Dolch list, there are several gaps as there are differences between the two lists.
So minus two stars: One for the mono-colored back sides, and one for the lack in clear description on the website.”
