The Writers
ANDREA OLSEN, author, is Professor of Dance and faculty member in Environmental Studies at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. Author of Body and Earth, An Experiential Guide (UPNE 2002), she performs and teaches internationally and is on the faculty for the teacher training program of the Center for Yoga and Healing Arts in Amherst, Massachusetts. She was recently a Fulbright Senior Scholar to New Zealand, and is working on her third book, The Place of Dance. CARYN MCHOSE, collaborator, has taught movement and anatomy for over 30 years and initiated the experiential anatomy curriculum for Middlebury College. She collaborated with Susan Borg to create the Resonant Kinesiology Training Program in Burlington, Vermont and wrote “The Evolutionary Sequence, An Integrative Model for Movement Study,” published in Rolf Lines. Caryn teaches classes and offers private sessions in perceptual bodywork and is working on her first book, The Evolutionary Sequence, Explorations in Movement and Meaning.
