A chilling read

Best friends, or used to be best friends, go on a road trip together to try to recapture the friendship they once had in college ten years ago. Both share the desire for a child. One is married, the other no longer is. They share a past where a third friend died in the room where the three were roommates in college. The same room where she had died. Their past rises up to complicate their relationship and secrets bring them together and tear them apart.Love this author and all her books.

Intense thriller

Best Friends Forever is an intense fast paced thriller. Abbey and Raven were the best of friends in college until something happened and Raven had to dropped out. Estranged for years, the two reunite for a road trip to the college reunion. It’s a chance to clear the air and perhaps start anew. It’s not long before their planned trip takes a horrific detour. Told via three perspective, Best Friends Forever is a wild thriller with a ton of twists and turns. This is the first book I’ve read by Cathryn Grant, but it most definitely will not be my last. Friends or Enemies

This was a non stop story that I couldn’t put down. College roommates who bullied a third roommate 12 years ago reunite for a road trip. They have had no contact until one reaches out to the other and they renew the bond that was once so strong. Something happened with the 3rd roommate and getting to the truth is the crux of the story, with an explosive and unexpected ending. Really good book.

Engrossing and Suspenseful

Cathryn Grant has written a captivating psychological thriller revolving around the mysterious death of a young college student named Lily more than a decade ago and the secrets kept by her two roommates, Abbey and Raven concerning that fateful night at a frat party. Abbey and Raven reconnect after being estranged since Abbey quit school after sophomore year when she was blamed for Lily’s death. These two characters begin an eventful road trip with the goal of attending their college reunion, hoping to gain insight regarding what actually happened to Lily. I don’t want to spoil any major plot points, but Raven fears that certain people from her past have a vendetta to punish both women for their incessant bullying of Lily while they were roommates. The author weaves a very suspenseful tale as Ashley and Raven realize they really don’t know each other’s motivations and could be walking into a trap. The reader is privy to Lily’s journal entries which reveal her backstory and possible reasons for her untimely demise. This story is engrossing and twisted as the distrust between Abbey and Raven grows day by day concluding with a shocking yet believable outcome where the truth is finally exposed.
