I have been waiting to purchase this book to complete my Library of Esoterica series. It does not disappoint. Only complaint is the size of the font. I wish the publisher would have opted to make the book 8×10 to increase the font size. Regardless, a wealth of information and intriguing images.

I bought this book in large part for its beautiful illustrations. It is a gorgeous book, as you would expect from Taschen. What I wasn’t expecting was for it to be so well written, so informative. The essays are thoughtful and well-curated. I absolutely love this book.

I’ve given 5 Stars because its fantastic. However, I wish online store would treat products such as this with the appropriate reverence, these book do not arrive in pristine condition which devalues not only the products but those who have spent years creating such master-works. I LOVE the text in ALL these books(Tarot, Astrology and Witches). I don’t want to give 4 stars it is a 5 star book. I LOVE it.

A well produced, quite heavy book, with over 500 pages printed on quality paper..it covers its subject in good detail and includes excellent accompanying illustrations on almost every other page..I was very pleased with it and was more than happy to pay the price asked.

This is a well presented book with a lot of great art used to to illustrate the chapters. Each chapter covers whole areas of witchcraft in belief & practice, in myth and how it is significant in modern culture.
I would say this would be a great gift for anyone even mildly interested in witchcraft around the world.
