I love the book because it has at least some documentation of the work in the early 1980s. It is a comprehensive volume that helps to frame the timeline of the house. The book illustrates the creative genius, innovation and luxurious brand.

Loved that this book, unlike others in the series concentrated just as much on prêt-à-porter as it did the haute couture collections. The couture collections, which can often be found online for free anyway, are rarely useful to me and often serve as nothing more than coffee table eye candy so it was refreshing to see that the balance was equal (unlike the Dior book in this series).
