The Writers
Junji Ito made his professional manga debut in 1987 and since then has gone on to be recognized as one of the greatest contemporary artists working in the horror genre. His titles include Tomie and Uzumaki, which have been adapted into live-action films; Gyo, which was adapted into an animated film; and his books Fragments of Horror, Frankenstein, Lovesickness, Shiver, Smashed, Venus in the Blind Spot, Remina and Sensor, all of which are available from VIZ Media.
Ito’s influences include classic horror manga artists Kazuo Umezz and Hideshi Hino, as well as authors Yasutaka Tsutsui and H.P. Lovecraft.
He is a three-time Eisner Award winner. In 2019 his collection Frankenstein won in the “Best Adaptation from Another Medium” category, and in 2021 he was awarded “Best Writer/Artist,” while Remina received the award for “Best U.S. Edition of International Material (Asia).”

I just ordered this a few days ago and just received it today. Ordering another one for my pre teen who also loves coloring and likes Junji Ito. I can’t wait to take my time and color in some pages. Really happy with this purchase. Highly recommended if you enjoy coloring and enjoy Junji’s artwork.

This is the coolest , cutest coloring book evvaauhh, I got it 4 my bf because he luvz junji ito anything and he luvz it <3 wayyy bigger than I thought it was gonna be, pages r thicc, the pages feel very strong, 1000/10 :｡•:*:•･’★,｡•:*:•･’☆

I bought this for my daughter and she really loved it! It was supposed to be for her coloring but she said it looked prettier not colored lol

I am a huge Junji Ito fan so this was a must-have for my collection and I had to get it on day one. It’s a coloring book but also a big-sized manga all in one. The quality is to be expected but there is one thing that irks me. It is an Uzumaki coloring book that comes straight out of the pages of Uzumaki which is great but that means that many of the pages still contain the dark shading associated with Ito’s style so there is a lot of the content that has already been blackened in. As I said, I am a Junji Ito fan but I am also a coloring book fanatic so this aspect of the coloring book brought my rating down one star. Other than that, I am satisfied and hope to see more of these creative endeavors in the future.
