Sure glad they wiped out Smallpox (Except secret Russian stash). I found cholera to be the most frightening. When I finished this I read library book, the Biography of Resistance. Very frightening look at the future… microbes will win, but then, we always knew that didn’t we.”

I knew a good bit of the information already, but this book added more scientific information and enlightened me as to the initial thoughts on these diseases as they emerged. I knew the end result already, but not the journey. For the most part it was well written and fairly concise. Some of the latter chapters rambled a bit and lost some organization, but overall a very good book.”
