My thoughts while reading this were – why did it take me so long? I found the wisdom in this book to be apparent in literally every other subject I’ve studied: psychology, religion, philosophy, psychoanalysis…. It was like coming upon a master key that could unlock more difficult subjects.
I recall Dennis McKenna saying his brother Terence told him not to read Jung until he’d taken LSD. While I can’t recommend you do that, I would say, do not read Jung until you’ve read the Kybalion.
