For the book! The pages are thick and the ink is also thick and printed well, clearly showing division of anatomy for days coloring so there is minimal chance of accidentally coloring into another piece of important anatomy. To study, I read the text first multiple times and glance at the image. I then try to memorize and use pencil, then go back in pen with correct answers. I study in between each time and then color and as I’m coloring the anatomy, I say what it is repeating it in my head. I’ve already memorized two pages and reread the text with each review. Very helpful for studying anatomy so far. I searched long and hard before deciding on an Anatomy coloring book and I’m overall very pleased with this one, especially with the thick pages. I do wish it was on a spiral for ease of coloring the right side of the book but other than that, all is well.“

Not to mention the explanations, which are well written and easy to understand. This is so much more than a coloring book. I’m really not sure how I would learn every single muscle in the human body (something I do need to do for my certification) without the help of this book. Highly recommended.“

Samantha “I bought this to supplement my NASM personal trainer certification study book to help me with memorizing the muscles. It is a very comprehensive coloring book, in fact having more muscles and body systems than NASM requires which is nice for future reference. Some of the muscle groupings are different than the NASM book but pretty intuitive nonetheless. The pages are sturdy and coloring in them with colored pencils has worked out well. They are likely thick enough for light/fine markers as well but I’m not sure you will see all of the striations of the muscles with anything too dark or heavy.“
