Awesome for getting through nursing school. I love books that break things down and don’t make me work too hard to get to the end. I had heard many great things about Kaplan and I’m glad that I got the basics book.

perfect for the basics

This is a great book for “the basics.” It’s a good review for students, new grads, and even practicing nurses needing quick points or a brief refresher. That being said, I have found a few typographical errors. I don’t see errors in content but the typos make it seem like a less professional and polished textbook.

Really The Basics you need for the NCLEX!

This is a must have for beginners. This prepared me for the NCLEX bigtime! I took my test the 3rd time and when I tried this book, it changed my view on how to understand NCLEX. I passed!!! Third time’s a charm. I am glad I gave this a try and it made it easy for me to answer questions during the test.

format issues

The book is great but why did the format become so confusing on the Kindle version? Yes I like the convenience of being able to click on whatever I want to read from the Table of contents but I HATE how Kindle removed the indentations! Outlines are meant to be for easy fast reading. But this Kindle version removed all of it making the entire book disorganized. Look at the preview of the EBOOK or KINDLE version before even thinking about buying it and you’ll see what I’m talking about!

I have the 2013 version and I might as well stick with that…

Everything Else you have to purchase seperately or buy the entire
book for $99.95

Page ripped in brand new book!

This book cost alot of money and half of a page was ripped out. I’m so pissed. How could this happen with a brand new book. Of course I didn’t notice until I got to that chapter to read it for my mid term.
