 Useful for any nurse

November 9, 2021

I’ve been in nursing for 23 years, primarily working with the elderly. A year after Covid hit, I changed jobs and am now a triage nurse. I saw that my new workplace had this book and I would breeze through it when I needed to. But I don’t often have free time to just read through and review on my own so I bought myself one. It is an excellent resource for nursing but is so easy to understand, could be used in the home by anyone who encounters injury or illness. I highly recommend!

 Great reference.

This book was published in 2020. I was expecting something about Covid, but it is not in the book. The book gives you access to an online version of the book. I thought the online version would have an update on Covid, No, it does not. Still a good book.

 Doesn’t even have basic answers

October 28, 2021

This is a terrible book. It doesn’t have answers for the most basic problems. If you look up ‘pain’ in the index, there is no entry but there IS one for PAINT! Also, no entry for cramping. Honestly, I have no idea why nurses would rate this as a valuable resource. It just sits in a corner in our triage room because it’s useless.
