hanna kubasek “The front of the cars are great but its only about half the words. The rest are on the back, which would be fine, but they’re generic, one color prints of the design on the fronts. Very disappointing. If they were all the nice bright colors, I wouldn’t mind them being 2-sided.”

Wwr “I do not like this cards, and my girl don’t like it either. She is kindergarten right now, I try to buy some words cards to teach her, but I am not suggest this one. Because I sooo confuse for this card.
First, the card has word on double side, but there is only one side colorful, like my picture. All kids like color one, they do like to learn the blue side.
Second, the two words in one cards are no any correlation. Like “he” and “to” in one card, “down” and “stop” in one card, or “but” and “run”
Therefore, is already leave unused.”

Laura J “I love these for my 6 year old struggling with phonics. He memorizes words instead, so this helps. The pics on the cards are cute, but I wish they weren’t there. My kid uses the pics to help him remember the words so he’s not actually memorizing strictly the word. Overall though a good way to get the words in front of his face more often.”

willaisie “Like so many others, my kids and I suddenly found ourselves thrown into the homeschooling arena. My first grader had been struggling with his “popcorn words” (sight words) and I thought these looked like a fun way to help him practice. These cards exceeded my expectations and the silly games we play with them have become his favorite part of our homeschooling day. The designs and colors are cute and friendly. I also like how they’re divided into manageable groups by color so we can work on one set at a time and move on to the next color set as he masters them. These flashcards have been a fun addition to our little homeschool and have significantly helped my son’s reading skills!”

Amanda “I bought these for my son who is about to start Kindergarten. I agree with some of the other reviews about having the second word at the bottom. It does confuse them a little. Also, I am not a fan of having the word levels so mixed up on the cards. For instance, one card has “ON” and “NUMBER” on the same card. It doesn’t make it easy to sort through. I have to search and find the words that are on his level.”

Little Miss Sunshine “Love these! I like to play the game train with my students and they have to say the word to stay in the front of the line. Before recess
I would stand by the door and have the student tell me the word. If they got it, they got to go to recess. I would also carry them with me to the lunch room while my students were standing in line and we would practice the words.”

Chrissy “Decent cards, good quality. Two things we don’t care for though – the words being front and back makes them hard to separate and my child doesn’t like that one side is gray scale instead of colored. My kiddo is just in the first couple months of kindergarten so definitely does not need all the words yet. Some I need to flip front and back and others only one side is needed. Also, shortly after I ordered them, I saw they’re cheaper at Walmart.”
