Ahmed “This is by far the worst text book i have ever read. I loved the 4th ed but the 5th edition is just an absolute mess. There is multiple issues with this edition, including spelling errors, horrible formatting, and incorrect information. The pages and information provided is formatted so poorly that it makes it makes it impossible to use as a reference book. Furthermore, almost every other word is abbreviated which only adds to the horrible formatting and makes it extremely difficult because you have to literally go back multiple pages (sometimes as many as 10-15 pages) to find the original word that was abbreviated to even understand the material.”

Though when studying and comparing details to class materials, the book doesn’t go into all fine details. I also find it does a fine job of stating board relevant, and finger tip facts, but does come up a tad short of clear explanations on “why” for some complicated disease processes. I’d buy it again for sure, but still looking for a dynamic duo to pair it with.”
