A great reference for beginners

I purchased an adult wether fainting goat to be a buddy for our daughter’s FFA lamb while her breeding ewe is pastured elsewhere. Although I’ve had poultry for years and my daughter is fairly knowledgeable about sheep, neither of us knew anything about goats when we brought “Scooter” home. This book is well-organized, clearly answers all my questions, and fun to read. My only gripe is that the book’s paper and cover are flimsy and so this is a book that must be handled with care or it will fall apart.

This book is very informative and answered many questions. Until you raise goats it’s all about your experiences and preferences. I’m glad I purchased this book and have marked the pages I need to reference. I feel this is a great book for beginners.
