Gamechanger!
August 23, 2021

With going through Radiation Therapy school during covid, we were limited with our clinical and had class completely virtual outside of test. The way this book broke things down to make it actually make sense made studying for my boards 10 times easier. It was very important for me to go in my exam understanding concepts and not just a thousand study questions. The book follows to content specification almost completely in order . Also, whenever there was a question about a topic, the writer Ms. Laura was prompt with explanations and clarifications. Needless to say, I went in my exam confident after using this book as my main study source and passed on the first attempt!!!

I failed my first registry by two points…. about 2 years later I purchased this book as well as Laura’s online program… long story short I passed my second time going almost 3 years without touching any study material until I picked up this book! It makes this complicated feild a little easier to understand. I highly HIGHLY recommend to anyone who wants to pass! She also has a Facebook group that is super helpful as well.. Thank you Laura! You should DEFINITELY get this book!!

Wish I would have bought this book a month ago!

I just got this book to study after hearing my classmates rave about it and I am so excited! I have been going back in forth between Mosby’s and radiation therapy essentials trying to make charts of side effects at doses, doses to treat, most common lymph spread, tissue tolerance dose, max energy, and chemo drugs! I’m probably missing some but she has it all right in this book in charts! I wish I would have found it a month ago but better late than never! Everything is just organized so well and I think this is going to be an amazing tool to help pass my boards. On top of that, she has a Facebook group called radiation therapy students where you can read other questions from other students and message her if you have any questions. I have not taken my boards yet but this book has the information so well organized!

AMAZING BOOK!!!

I will start by saying this review is a MUST HAVE for registry review. I used it as my main source for studying, reading it cover to cover, and I passed the registry the first time with ease. The layout is very neat and organized and it is full of nothing but pertinent and relevant information. Whoever wrote this book really knows their stuff! I don’t understand how any one could write a bad review. (I wouldn’t listen to those to be honest) This book is such a great resource to have and I highly recommend it! 11/10 would buy again!

Great tool
September 23, 2021

The organization of this review is top tier as I like the format better in comparison than other study materials. I failed my registry the first try but passed the second time after using this tool to study. The questions prepared me and offered a great range of material to study and focus on. It’s a great tool for condensing major topics but also paying close attention to detail, I will highly recommend.

One pair
Mistakes
February 25, 2021

Just received the book and was just looking through it. I realize there are mistake down from td 5/5 dose and critical structure. It says the book been updated to correct the mistake but these are simple mistake that could trick any one. I wished it didn’t have mistake because this would’ve been a great book. I just can’t trust it especially for boards
