Sharon A. Gutman, PhD, OTR, FAOTA is an associate professor in the Programs in Occupational Therapy at Columbia University. Dr. Gutman has a background in neuroscience, and, as an occupational therapist, she has worked with a wide array of populations, including traumatic brain injury, psychiatric disability, autism, developmental delay, and homelessness. She has published numerous journal articles and books and served as the editor of the American Journal of Occupational Therapy from 2008 to 2014.
