this book is good. the online resources are helpful

this book is good. the online resources are helpful. i have been able to break down difficult questions thanks to strategies discussed in the 1st section. unfortunately, the kindle version has some major editing errors which made it very difficult in the content and quiz sections of the book. I was able to access the pdf version of the book through the online companion site to get to the correct information.

I bought this book for its high reviews…am currently using it for my NCLEX review. So far so good. I would have to edit my feedback based on how much I learned, maybe after I know the results of my exams. But so far I’m enjoying this book. I downloaded it on my phone and tablet.

This book was only helpful for QUESTIONS. If you are looking for a content review, this is not the book for you. It gives a brief overview of some content that will be covered, but it is more of an outline and then questions following each section. The questions and rationales are useful and this book is worth purchasing if that is what you are looking for. I passed NCLEX with 75 questions- the key is doing the questions, remediating the questions (figuring out why you picked the incorrect/correct answer) and then looking up any information you do not know. I took a KAPLAN course through my school and found that the questions online are better than a book for me personally, but that is because I am used to answering questions on the computer (and NCLEX is on a computer!).

Can not access online content. The 13 digit isbn in the book is 9781506207582. But according to the kaplan website its not correct. Total waste of money.

Best nursing textbook I’ve ever had

Holy moly, buy this book!! If you read this, you’ll get an A in your class. Each chapter has a quiz at the end with exam/NCLEX questions. I’ve never said this about a nursing textbook, but this was enjoyable to read. The clinical scenarios make everything easy to remember. This was required for my nursing class. I’d highly recommend reading and taking notes. Very very easy to read.
