What an amazing book.

My husband and I turn just one page a day. The book lays open on our dining room table and we stop every time we pass it on the way to our kitchen. These photographs depict the beautiful colors of these creatures. The commentary is enlightening. So happy to have made my husband’s 81st birthday a memorable one by purchasing this for him.

This book is for the animal lover who what to learn new and fascinating species or just to see incredible photography. Joel is on a 25-year assignment with Nat Geo to photograph approximately 25,000 species in captivity all over the world. Some species only remain in captivity because habitat has been destroyed so their documentation is priceless!

This is the most amazing photography book! It is my favorite gift to give (price is also great). My wish is for this book to be “used up” with use. Great for babies through Alf age. I recently gave it to a friend who had a stroke and couldn’t read. He love it too

If you have any of the Photo Ark books this one is similar except that every other page has a white background instead of a black one.
